When I first decided to get a bit more education regarding birds I went to the library. Every book had gone, marked as lost!

The book you are looking for is Russells first book written around 1994 (A complete manual etc)
His second book written in 1998 is very good called "keeping and breeding Finches and Seed-Eaters."
If you can get your hands on this book you should be pleased with it's quality, it is more upto date and covers more species kept here
as well as good data on management.

That is the book we all want. Periodically it comes up on E-bay. But winning the bidding is easier said than done.
