Hi,
My pair of zebra finches that I have had for 5 years have always produced lovely little babies. The 3 that have just fledged have no tail feathers and alot of feathers missing off their backs. Does anybody know why when for years they have always had really healthy babies.They are really good parents and they have a very good diet.

You are not the first one this year to have Bald babies.Zebs are good parents providing they go back to the nest to roost they should be OK.

Not just finches with feather probs , I have a clutch of 2 quarrions one feathered up nicely the other bald as a babies bum.
