I know a few boys on here are around the armadale area.. I went for a drive for about 2 hours trying to find some tea trees to "trim" to find nothing. Anyone have a spot or two they could share ? =)

swan valley, georgeff st, on road verge. huge bushes if you need. conveniently down the end of my driveway!!

Next time i line the aviary i might go for a bit of a drive I did find a few bushes near the kelmscott primary but they werent really big enough for me to harvest without doing damage. But if you do see someone over the next month or two with a red triton ute doing some pruning come and say hello.

We have t tree 3 houses up in one of the reserves , so always on hand . My mission is finding grevillea and bottlebrush for the parrots anyhoo in dire times I have used gum tree and she oak and the finches didnt mind it at all so I think it is fine to use any safe native if t tree is scarce.

Only have 1 neighbour (despite being a very nice person) So lots of bush to raid round me. Yes it is a Govt Reserve. Every suburb should have one. Parrots and Cockies love gum trees Deb, mother has been using it for hers for over 40 years.

Yeah if I see someone I'll come say G'day. Got a few big bushes of it on the property itself that I'll keep reserved for myself though!!!

i use tea tree or paper bark. its just as good get mine near willows road in brookdale...pete..

Yeah theres heaps of paper bark around me. The whole street is lined with them, I normally just raid those but the council did some pruning and nothing is reachable for a while. I do have a pole pruner but cutting down peoples branches in their front yard probably isnt appropriate. ;)

It likes the wet areas in these parts.So dont forget your wellingtons.
