Hi

I am about to start growing some food/herb plants to go in our new aviary and wondered if you guys have any ideas for things that would be a) Good nutrition for the finches, and b) Likely to survive all the nibbling! Have you had any success with food plants in an aviary?

Of course their own seed will sprout everywhere, but as well as that I'm thinking maybe...
- Milk Thistle
- Evening Primrose
- Japanese Greens (too optimistic?)
- Moringa
- Purslane (too optimistic?)

What else?
