Look forward to seeing more pics. Had the feeling recessive was the most likely method of inheritance. Keep up the good work.

I love Cubans. And the 2 you like Diane are the pied cuban cocks. :soppy: Yes nice. The fawn hen (ist pic) is nice too. Must admit the yellows would look good as a contrast, but on their own are just pale yellow birds. Thanks very much for showing us Carlos.

hey ... sorry for such a late reply on this post... im pretty sure lukec was asked very politely to not post pictures of the cuban mutation.

it is a recessive pied mutation.

It's all about the science here and not the glory. Sounds like Wikileaks has a competitor! Seriously though there are good security reasons not to expose some bird image of that other might be willing to steal if they are traceable and you promise not to then don't!

From an outsiders pov, if the birds were at ACE (in transit or otherwise), Luke is doing nothing but creating interest in a new mutation. :wtf:

I think if someone lets you into their home or business and allows you to photograph birds then you should honour the request not to post them.I actually joined the forum to view the photos.Im not quite sure if it is such a secret why Ace has the birds advertised in Just Finches.Still thats his business.
