Hi All

I managed to get my hands on a copy of Russells new Book.

For the record i am not a Personal Friend of Russells, and the below is my opinion for what its worth.

I wish i was capable of writing Great Book review so i could do this justice.

This is an amazing Book that details information that can be used around the world, of the 30 odd books from around the globe i have this is the Greatest. It gives a good idea for Australia but the concepts can be considered around the world and the way it is delivered makes you consider what you currently do and gets you thinking can you get creative and change some things to improve practises.

Its different to the other books i have in that the species are discussed in their family groups and show some of the common traites without being repetitive. Each section also contains a section on Russells personal experience which is Great and makes you want to jump ahead to just read.

It also details info on birds we do not have here but is not boring like some books.

It details housing and Nutrition well and even displays information on birdrooms and how people in other parts of the world keep their finches. I personally feel this is a great idea as property today is very expensive and it shows how to make the most of minimal space.

The pictures and layout is excellent and at no stage so far have i wanted to put it down(apart from telling everyone how good this book is), not finished reading it yet.

Without trying blowe wind up RUSSELLS @rse i cant compliment the book enough apart from saying this book will go down as the best Finch Book in History Around the world, not to mention his previous 2 books which follow as 2nd and 3rd. :D

Actually, i would kill to get a Hold of his 1st book (Black Cover) i lent mine years ago to a member of one of the clubs i use to attend never to be seen again. (If anyone has a GOOD spare copy i'll pay 200)

Do yourself a favour and get a copy you wont regret it.

Cheers
Luke Chaffey

My evil wife bought me a copy for fathers day just so I couldn't buy it for myself beforehand. She even had the nerve to show it to me without letting me touch it.
