Melbourne question

Hello, i'm a new finch owner and i LOVE them

I have two females in a large cage --- where can I buy males who are ready for breeding? I'm in the northeast of melbourne. When i get two males, should I just put them into the existing cage, or put them beside the cage in a separate cage first? And then should i separate the two pairs?
A bit scary, i don't want to stress them out!
and i am worried about the cold, one night i noticed they huddled and slept in the food tray, so i put them in a warmer room and they're clearly happier ---- what should I feed them exactly to make sure they have enough fat to sustain themselves???

Seeds high in omega 3s like niger , lettuce , linseed the list goes on and as for introducing the boys just put them in a cage alongside the girls and watch them , when you are happy that they are used to each other bung them in together and let nature do her thing ....spring is coming so your at a good time for matchmaking here.
There will no doubt be squabbles but unless there is blood shed then just leave them to hash it out , it is what they do .

Depends on the type of finches and your definition of large. What some call large others call small. I know, my definitions are sometimes smaller and sometimes larger than others. Hey that's life. But if you tell us what sort of finches you have and the measurements of your cage the information can be more specific.

when you get the boys have them in a separate cage and put the cage next to the females until they like each other then add them together and when you want to breed them have the cane nests
