Well the painteds are sitting tight on eggs, am keeping my fingers cross, its ony been 3 days now.

good luck with them Greg. they are beautiful birds.

Thanks Mick, iam staying right away from them and hope i can get some young.

Went to check seed and water this afternoon and found my painted hen that was sitting on 4 eggs dead on the floor of the avairy, there was no signs of any problems and also check her to make sure she was not egg bound, just when i got them to breed.

thats a bummer Greg, hope that the male will sit for you.

I check him just before dark and he's not sitting.

that sucks.
