Hi, new to keeping birds, and i thought finches would be the way to go. Have just about finished building 3 cages. Each is 3 foot wide x 2 foot deep x 20 inches high. Its an old TV cabinet i have converted. I was thinking about not separating and having the 3 pair together? Am going to get Zebs, but I went looking for breeders online, in my area (sydney), and cant find any. I know we're just coming out of winter but i thought i would be able to find heaps of breeders online. I would prefer to buy from a breeder than a pet store. I suppose once i have my 5 posts I'll be able to access that part of the forum. anyways, nice site, plenty of info that has kept be busy the last couple of nights. back to reading, cheers.

Welcome to the forum. Zebs are a nice little starter finch, and some of us still keep them many years down the track, for their unique personalitys.
