well after all my efforts I have a pair of zebras been on eggs about 7 days now.there are 4 I think.im realy excited but will mum and dad need any special food ect if they hatch.I feed them budgie seed with some niger and grass seed.any sugestions ????

Zebs are some of the most domesticated finches so they are very easy to cater for-however to ensure healthy babies I would provide some egg and buscuit, green seeds and some soft food-such as Mike Fiddlers Complete soft food available from Birds R Us. Good luck with your new bubs!

hi ok thanks..will go and get some so im ready,I thought it may be the case.they are getting green seed from the grass seeds but Il buy the egg and biscut and track down the comp soft food.Im curious to see what colour they will be, dad is a lovely soft fawn with cream cheeks ..mum is a little browny grey girl so they should be pretty lol.as long as they are healthy ,im hoping some of the other finchs may get clucky and breed too !!!!
