Ringing Gouldians

Hi folks. If I was to ring Gouldians while still in the nest, is there a chance the parents may abandon them?

me too. I find that baby fledglings are quite trusting and will sit on your finger while you do it

Well sometimes in an aviary it's hard to know who belongs to who, especially when you have multiple nests fledging at the same time.

that's true, how much time do you have? Being home schooled I have all day to watch who feeds who.

I've always caught mine once that have fledged to ring.
Sound like you have had a bit of success cranberry.
