Bloody Mondays my other half just let the Emblema girl escape ...sorry for your loss and I know where your at my staffy killed 2 cordons here the day after we got them .
Cant trust the staffy now .

He is right , Axle is so gentle but obviously the kill instinct just over rides every thing else . Not a good day for both of us flab .

my dog is well trained (despite being a beagle) only to chase currawongs and butcherbirds, leaves finches well alone. ATM she is guarding finch cage which is in the sun

Apart from the odd chook the 'pups' get, my 5 staffies don't touch birds. My origonal girl would lay in the sun & the chooks would walk over her, although I did have to stop her having a go at Charlie the Galah after he bite her on the knee cap. Should of let her go cause all he does now is attack anyone that goes near him.
