Ok, Im guessing that is because of the red eyes, so is lutino just a more attractive name for albino?
They are inside at the moment. Will be putting them outside tomorrow, probably in the big shed for quarantine.
Im trying to remember what was said about the genetic mutation. (Shocking memory

)
I think I was told that they could produce both colours.
Any cocks would be normal/lutino
Hens would either be lutino or normal. Does that sound right?

Dont know ! Some gene genius is going to have to elaborate on the difference between Lutino and Albino as far as I can see the only difference is one is white while the other is white / yellow or yellow .
Hope someone answers as I interested myself to find out ...All I know is they do not have the whatsit in the eyes that can handle the thingy rays from the sun and so dont handle sunlight very well ....they need little raybans

I know Albino are usually white with red eyes, I was just wondering if the normal BFPF colouring would make what would be white, yellow.
Bit more research in that area I think.
Ok thinking about the delicate eye situation, My most shaded aviary is the one that already has a pair of normal BFPF along with some gouldian young. Would this be a problem, bearing in mind the "should have more than 2 pair of same type bird"?

Probably another breeder of lutinos would be the best person to talk to , they could tell you how they house theirs ...

Basically the only difference between Albino and Lutino is the feather colour. White for Albino and Yellow for Lutino. Genetics and eyes are the same. Congratulations on your new birds and good luck in breeding them.
