just noticed something weird...

Hey, just been looking through my estrildid finches book and found something rather odd:
It says (of course depending on the size) an outdoor aviary can house around 9pr of exotic estrildid finches with good breeding results, but not much more. it goes on to say that the minimum outdoor aviary size is about 3x2x2 in their minds.
and the weird part: it also says that indoor aviaries about 1m2 can house about 4pr of finches and have good results.
this seems to go against what they just said. am I missing something? are indoor aviaries different somehow?
and for an aviary the minimum size, isn't that a bit overstocked from what I've heard here?
