Thought i would start this thread.So people can list finches seen at sales.What sold well.What didnt.

As you can see not alot there.not alot sold.

at this time of year I wont buy birds at sales on principle (I do buy birds from breeders I know & trust ). my preference is to buy later in the year when any young birds have had more time to colour up & mature.
got caught a couple of times buying what I was told were relatively young birds only to find that they were ready for the retirement home.

there were some birds 3/4 coloured up indicating the age visually.eg stars gouldians and blueface.
