Hi dave,
Wrens are Poitta's thing - maybe send him a PM, or otherwise he'll be along shortly :)

Welcome dave. I'm also looking for so wrens at the moment they are around here from time to time but at the begining of breeding season are hard to find. There have been some good articals in Birdkeepers & Just Finches & Softbills mags that might help you.

Yes . . plenty of good articles about . . and not difficult birds to maintain

BUT . . I will just replay my cracked record (dont know what the iPOD(?) equivalent is) . .

DONT keep wrens with other species . . sooner or later they will assert their authority, and the wrens will then be the sole occupants :( :(

I don't know about ALL other birds, Javas/canaries would probably be OK. They are scaaaaary things though, saw one chasing a wedge-tail once  :o
but definitely nothing blue.
