sitting here a few minutes ago,And a mouse goes scooting throught the lounge with two dogs in toe.It goes under the tv unit and escapes the dogs.I think for a split second,I hope that wasnt one of the Mitchell hopping mice.So i get my daughter to put the dogs out and check the mice,While i keep gaurd. She says there is one missing. It was down the far end of the house through doors a mostly covered 500mm high sided tank about 1500 mm of the ground. So I get her back with a light blanket, closing all doors in the livingroom.I see it under the tv,yes it is defiantly a mitchell. We get it moving, missing the first time, under the couch it goes.I decide to chase it to a dead end hallwall.Me in front and my daughter behind with the blanket.I dive for it and miss,My daughter throws a blanket on it it escapes,Running back to me.I have another go this time no mistakes,we have the slippery sucker.Back into the enclosure he goes this time with a bigger and better lid on top. He maybe luckier than he thinks. Will see if he lives from the stress and possible grab from the dog.

Just think you could have won funniest home videos if you had just thought to get the wife to video the whole thing. :ooh: So glad you thought to check what sort of mouse it was, pity it had to suffer the indignity of a dog chase first but.
