Not an addition to forum, but a suggestion in general.

Maybe to get some more members on board we could advertise the forum in some mags or news letters. Not sure of what the cost would be, but i'm sure 'us' addicted members would be happy to chip in some $$.

Suggestions, Just Finches and Softbills, QFS mag, Finches '11 program

Photo album /gallery in members profile. Many other forums have albums or galleries attatched to members profiles for them to post photos of there collection ect.

Just a thought for who ever takes over from Greg, have a subforum in the Australian Finch section for Gouldians, or even their own section entierly, with a subforum for genetics or mutations ect. Although they are an Australian finch, their special needs I think warrants their own section of the forum.

Can I suggest we take things easy for awhile, those that are responsible for the every day running of the forum will have their hands full.
I agree there is room to improve the forum but it will need some time to organise.
In the mean time I am sure those incharge would like to hear your opinions even as I mentioned earlier they don't act on any quickly

Finch photo of the month where we can vote by poll and the winner can get something from a sponsor like finch mix for example.
