Four Sponsored spaces for Juniors at the Finches ’11 Convention
Through generous sponsorship from members and others, QFS will provide full registration and attendance at the aviary visits for up to four junior finch keepers (under 18) to attend the Finches ’11 Convention.
If you are a junior member, or you know an enthusiastic junior finch keeper (whether a member of QFS or not) then provide us with a reason why you, or they, would benefit from coming along to finches ’11. An approved guardian must also attend Finches ’11.
Contact Gary Fitt (07 3202 6779 or [email protected]) to make a suggestion and justification. The QFS committee will make final selections at the January 11 committee meeting.
I would personally like to nominate Jayburd and shanny2. I think both these young keepers are perfect candidates and would benefit greatly. So please Jayburd, please Shanny, write a short brief about your bird keeping history, why you think you would benefit by attending, and why you should be picked!
I will help you or get someone else, but do it soon so you don’t miss out! But please remember that you must have an approved guardian attending. This can be a parent, or someone your parent's nominate in writing to QFS committee.
Good luck, and I hope to see you there!
