One is better than none. Are they a young pair? An old pair? Has there been thunder and lightning? Give them extra greens so they can do an extra good job with the chick they have.

It's a young hen but the cock bird is probably 4 hrs old used to be hand raised should I leave the other eggs in there or remove them

I would leave them for up to a week. Occassionally they seem to lay a couple, sit, then lay a couple more. If nothing more in a week ditch them. And besides it gives the little one something to snuggle up to in the 1st week.

quarrions lay eggs every second day ( and thus babies hatch roughly 2 days apart )sometimes its over a week before an entire clutch hatches ....young birds often only rear 1 baby and that's good as they are only learners and too many babies would over whelm them .
leave them be and keep up the greens . egg food , wholemeal toast and fruit .
