Can king quail be kept with little buttons?
after the loss of y only real tie to King Quail, I am considering going into little buttons. But I would like to be able to keep one king, preferably a hand tame silver too, and cages aren't really an option - would these two co-exist OK? would there be cross-breeding if it was a silver? I know the two genus of quail are not related, so would cross breeding even be possible?
I am planning to raise a young one over the holidays, as my hen has laid eggs again, even though she has lost her male
