Did a bit of cleaning today & my suprise my singers have 2 young that just starting to feather.. So it's my first time breeding them . They have already this year in June raised 1 young male.. But my concern is this normal iv been told they start to breed around march..looks like I have a pair that breeds all year round.. I hope that I don't burn them out... Should I stop them after these young are raised & seperate or let them be.. Bcuz I really don't like touching my birds only to separate my young.. Really need some advice any will help thx

Just let them go, 3 nests/year is fine you wont burn them out.

Our birds are becoming so domesticated that traditional breeding seasons are out of whack

Its good to have an idea and work to a planned season that encompasses an austerity period, but ultimately a bird will decide so it is best to adapt to there needs by watching there behaviour like courting, nesting, feeding and feeding each other.

If they dont stop breeding after say 4 nests in 12months maybe split them up for a couple of months to rest.
