new gouldians

I have 4 gouldians now and i could use your help to expand my knowledge about them and what is a stress perch? and other usefull info that i could have

The main thing is protect from cold drafts and good quality feed.

A stress perch is a high perch in a cage where a stressed bird can sit so a dominant bird must come from underneath which they will not do dominant birds will only attack from above or the side.

i have 3 gouldians now about 3-5 hours later i lost one i went to have a snack and i decided to see what my birds are doing and i went outside and i saw the gouldian but it flew through a gap between my roof and pragoula roof and what about zebbies and gouldians can they go together?

Sorry to hear that. How did it get out? You need to make sure they cannot escape as any escapees face an almost certain death. Obviously it was an accident but try and be 100% sure there are no chances of it happening.
They can be housed with zebs but I don't think they goulds will do any good there. I'd rather have them on their own.

I think the zebras are just too "busy" for the gouldians. You will find you end up with load of zebra babies but no gouldian babies.
Gouldians are a more laid back "chill out" sort of a bird. I have mine in with emblema (another chill out species :lol: )

Your Gouldian "might" come back if it hears the others calling. Put some seed out in case it does come back you might be able to lure it into a cage or if you have an aviary finch trap even better. Hopefully it comes back. Finches are great escape artists. You have to make sure all gaps are closed.
