just popping in to say hi....have tried to post pics but i have gone back to the dark ages with the internet and posting is becoming a hand full . will try as soon as i can to show pics , but also due to a total fire ban in my area the building of the new aviaries has come to a halt.......pete Image Image

It must be frustrating, not being able to get on with the aviaries. At least the enforced wait will give you that little extra time to complete any "indoor" jobs for the family so you will be able to concentrate fully on your aviary complex once the fire ban is lifted.

The joys of being further out in the internet desert, ADSL1 or dial up is our choice here . Nice pics. Stinking hot here too, 38 yesterday and very humid, a little better today. Like Butterfly said get yourself in the good books with the family while it is hot and you will then be free to go avairy mad when the weather improves.

good to hear from you poitta.... hang in there with the dry weather and temperatures.
we had several dry/hot years over here but this year has helped us to forget the bad times.
mud is always better than dust....
i also chased a brown snake around yesterday so look out for the "critters" around at the moment.
