Have you tried joining any of the local Avicultural Societies in your area ? You will save a small fortune buying from breeders ( not to mention the advice youll get ) and wont have to freight birds which bu the way its too hot for this time of the year .
When you join just ask for a breeders list and go from there . :D

Hi and welcome.You could try aussiefinchbreeder.He seems to be reasonably successful with Blue caps and does freight birds.He has a good web site under that name and a good article on Blue Caps.They are a challenging finch and a bit more work than most species.Good luck.

Yeah there is one in Illawarra, one in Sydney (who I don't know personally) and one in Byron Bay who advertises on Petlink. The illawara one is on this forum, username Southy.
