Ok folks I got a big ask ...next time you take your kids to Macdonalds or drive through yourself and see the little collection box that raises money for Ronald Macdonald house can you dig a little deeper and help with this awesome charity .
For us rural folks with sick kids in the family its a godsend and honestly is the only place to stay now the hospitals have closed their rural accommodation wings.
$11 a day per person gives us a main meal and clean accommodation while kids are in hospital , the rest is funded by Macdonalds .
Honestly I dont like to give to many charities as I beleive they skim way too much of for admin costs but this is one charity that can be seen to be doing good .
Oh and the kids love it , siblings get very bored and naughty hanging around hospitals but R/Macdonald house has activities to keep them occupied making it easier for parents .
Just keep it in mind folks please.
