Goldies have always been one of my favorites, but a little out of my price range, still about 2 -3 grand a pop, & have been for about 15 years.

Low numbers.

Interesting with the Goldies, at one time it was said that there were only Goldie hens left in Australia, so I wonder about their purity. :)

All of these exotic lories also require a better diet (Dr Macs) than the aussies!

If you are looking for a nice exotic Lory – get a Cardinal Lory. :)

When I grow up Im gonna have Tahiti Blue or Stella lorries .....thats after they allow imports and after I win the Lotto.

I've seen a few goldies pairs around probably 5-6 years ago.

I think it's fair to say many of the more rare foreign parrots have had an influx of blood lines in the last half dozen years - especially since the exotic bird license scheme folded.
