Hi and welcome to the forum

Here is a pic of my new arrival which I was told was a hen, not a very good close pic but something to compare.
My hen dosnt have as much blue on her head as your two birds she isnt as vivid blue either.

Haven't had a lot to do with Parrott finches, but I tend to agree with the others that they look like 2 boys to me.

Hard to tell in that photo,In your welcome post the one in the front of the shot looks like a hen with a good mask,As you will see in that photo that bird is not as iredesant than the one behind and the red rump is quite dull as well.Looking at the photo in this post, i would say the bird on the left is the same as the one in the front of the other photo.Even the mask on the right hand side bird is quite different,Maybe its the photo. If so you may well have a very well marked hen bird.

P.S the more i look at the other photo the more im convinced they look like a pr.

i am with gomer ., the more i look the more i think its a pair in the first pics in the welcome post. in the welcome post the blue face is duller in the front bird and it looks a bit motley , but it could be a young male thats un coloured, how old are they, this can be a big help as if it was a young one going through a moult it now looks like a male in this post, a good way to check is to see if they both trill/ sing , the hen should show no sign of yellowing feathers in the bib/ chest like the one on the left but that can also mean its an east timorese blue face and not an aussie one .... so back to my question how old are they......pete

If the one isn't constantly chasing the other around trying to mate I'd say two males. The males tend to be eager to say the least when a female is around.
