Does anyone have or know of these or such a thing as Par Blue. Have a dilute cock bird still colourig up and is quite blueygreen on its back compared to a dilute but still has the bluegrey under the beak as the dilutes have. Would anyone have photos? Looked at some last night but were all hens. Maybe he is a definate Dilute/Blue and is showing it. Will have to take some photos later. I was told it is Parblue. Dont know who the parents were other than a Green hen and Yellow cock. And what its worth puting it too?
Have a Yellow hen that maybe split blue to try.
Any suggestions?

Parents were RH PB GB Hen and YH PB YB or Yellow (Dilute) Cock. He was very dirty in colour on its back.

Hes definitely showing a lot of blue on the back. It could well indicate that he is split to blue, the only way to tell would be pairing with a known split blue or a visual blue.
The pairing you mention would be a good one, if the hen is split to blue, you stand a chance of getting silvers, pastels, DF, SF yellows, even a blue, not to mention the normals and a percentage of these would be split blue!

Yes i am stumped on this one. Been told possible split blue as you said or ParBlue. But he is completely different to the Dilutes split Blue that i have. His back is nearly the colour of a Sea Green Parrotfinch.

Do you have a sister of his? If you don;t like the sound of this just stop reading. You could try putting him to a sister or half sister and see what comes of it. And obviously then outcross any resulting young.
