Anyone in australia still have them?
I was just reading my copy of 'the avicultural writings of eric baxter' and he said he couldn't find any anywhere, many years ago.
hope they are still around, undoubtedly mu favourite zebby mutation.

None off the above other than mayb Lightbacks. Closest thing to a Fawn Cheek i would say would nearly be our Opal (Fawn Aluminas) White bird with Fawn Cheek patches.

Just watched a few youtube videos of Penguin Zebra Finches. Surely we can get some eggs. When can we import again we only need 12months or so.

Interested to know the difference in lightback as opposed to just cream. Is there a lot of variation in the colours and so the description depends on the amount of difference in feather colour rather than the shade? Is a lightback a bird with a lot of variation between body color and wing/back colour but could still be dark or light cream?
