Hey all!
Just completed my first day of work at the Gold Creek Village walk in aviary in Canberra

and guess what new additions I saw

A PAIR OF PINTAILED WHYDAHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woot, now I can spy and keep an eye on them whenever I'm there

Would that be a true pair or 2 males because they look nice? Did you happen to notice 6 pairs of St Helina's in the same aviary too?

a pair, male in plumage and hen not

and they are building up the number of saints, the aviary is about 400m square or so and very high

birds at my new place of employment!
