Hi Lukec
In a recent survey held by NFSA none were recorded......this doesnt mean there are none...but it seems if there are any left in Australia they are in very low numbers

Yeah i saw these results.
I remember seeing these guys fo sale occasonally about 10 years ago and heard nothing of Peters Twinspots then.
How the tables have turned.
I guess they would probably thrive under the similar conditions that people are breeding the Peters twinspot.
It would be a shame to see them dissappear.
Definately interested in speaking with anyone who has these birds.
Cheers
Luke

Not sure, but I reckon there are a few tucked away. no one wants to sell em as they are too rare to replace should something go wrong!

i think you maybe correct on them being tucked away for safe keeping until there numbers are up again they should be kept with the most expireinced keepers. i wouldnt be game enough myself.....pete
