Description:
Adult – Cock bird, the face is black and so is the beak. Has a yellow collar, which starts just above and behind the eyes, continues across the throat.
The breast is black. Lower body is a grey colour. The wings and tail are an olive green.
Hen, the face mask is a brown colour, the collar is a washed out yellow. Does not have the black breast of the cock bird.
Is grey in colour from the breast to the tail.
Juveniles – Look very similar to the hen.
