Description:
Adult –
Juveniles – Body colour is a dull Grey, the beak is black. Young cock birds will start trying to sing at 3 to 4 months old. Adult colouring may not be completely achieved until approx 6 to 8 months old.

Sexing:
The safest ways to sex these birds is by either having them DNA sexed or using the fact that only the cock bird sings. It has been said that you can do it by the beak size & shape, the shape of the ring around the eyes is supposed to vary between cock & hen.
