Such a shame when you lose birds but it comes with the territory. I've got my last nest of Javas now - pity I can't take them to Australia with me as they are pure wild normals. Each day I'm greeted by the sound of begging of the 3 chicks in the last nesting box left. Over here they are worth P70 each (almost S2) so I guess I shouldn't he too proud but I get as much pleasure out of a next of Javas as I do from something more expensive. I will definitely be getting them again when I relocate to Brisbane in the new year.
