Description:
Adult – Head colour is black as is the belly and vent area. Wings and tail are brown.
There is a white area across the lower chest/upper belly, this white continues along the flanks of the bird.
The beak is a silvery blue colour.
Juveniles – The beaks are black when they fledge.

Sexing:
The cock bird sings while the hen does not. Visually the cock and Hen are identical and DNA sexing would be the safest method.
