JCD93, I am a newish member of the Hawkesbury club and it would appear that only a few of us have any. My mature pair have just built a nest and I'm expecting eggs any day, so hopefully, collectively we can get some good numbers going. Can't believe I missed them at Rooty Hill. I pop in there every couple of weeks to see if there is anything of interest there.

I have decent colony of Tri Nuns and they produce around 40+ chicks a season. They have gone early this season with at least 4 pairs incubating at the moment
The smaller colony of Silver Head have just started to carry grass around.
I find the Tri Nuns good honest breeders but their young are so noisy when chaseing their parents around.

Just an up date, since the Sept 25 post there are 14 young Tri Nuns crashing around the flight with several other pairs incubating or feeding chicks.
They have started early this year, possibly because of all the rain.Last weeks rain will push all the birds along again.Could be an excellent breeding season.
