Can anyone identify these parrots for me please?
parrots in trees.jpg
These parrots are regular visitors to our garden, mainly for the fruit on the trees, they started on the peaches, ate most of the plums and pears and now are chowing down on the apples, Im happy to share, but do they have to take a bite out of every apple, plum, peach and pear and then move onto the next unblemished fruit?
I eat fruit too.

Not too good a pic but I couldnt get any closer or they flew off.

Musk Lorikeet, closest relative of the Little Lorikeet, just three times their size.

They are always a neat looking bired, tight feathered, clean lines between colours, just a smart looking bird alround, if only they weren't vampires, they'd make a beautiful pet. Out of the thirty or so I breed & handreared from my pair, everyone turned out the same, come 6 months, they'd tear you a new one.

They come in the garden at least twice a day about five or six of them, not noisy. Trouble is the apple tree they prefer is behind another one and me getting around the first tree seems to be too close for comfort for them, Ive scared them away twice today.
I will have to get some strawberries and see if I can get them out of the tree in plain sight so I can take a pic.
