what do mites/lice look like?
do they look like white dots cause if so i just picked up a feather in the rosella cage and i saw tiny white dots moving does anyone know what i could be facing and is there a treatment to kill/stop them
i am going to grab all my birds(hope they don't bite exp the rosellas) and see if they have any mites/lice

Noooooooooo just leave the birds alone for now ...yes sounds like lice .
Get some bird lice spray and then wait till it cools down (evening or early morning ) THEN catch them , spray them and release them .
Why do you want to be double handling them , they are aviary birds and stress when being caught .
Vetafarm Insect Liquidator would be my first choice however Aristopet does the same thing in smaller sizes .

what Jay said ..all birds need treating.
NOOO not all ( good grief ) forgot about the babies sheesh your hard work today Shanny

OK the grassies are out so the nest material can be changed and a light spray of lice stuff into the nest also.
All perches and roosting spots need spraying too ...I would leave the finches alone till the young have fledged just remember to put it on the to do list ...
