Hi all,
Been away for a few days to see the better half who has just accepted a posting at Moree. Brother in law came over and fed birds daily but unfortunatley used all of my sprouted seed. Just waiting for another day to get the supply up again. Question: Has anyone used the containers of alphalpa sprouts that you can by in fruit markets, you know, the same fine sprouty green stuff you see in sandwich bars and is it OK to use to tide me over for a day or 2. I have three Gouldian nests with chicks at the moment and they go ape s..t over the normal sprouted seed when feeding the chicks. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it's pure organic alfalfa and not mixed spouts containing onion etc it should be ok.
