in reply to the query re peal,s parrot finch there were several pairs in a queenland collection in the last ten years.they were available back in the sixties and quiet a few of the old breeders had success with breeding them but most those finch men wauld have passed on now. several pair were offered by the australian bird company at 19 mckewan road hiedleberg in november 1965. i was offered some in the 80,s at $650 a pair but later heard nothing further of the birds cheers michael
