This is a trivial thing but it is bugging me, Your forum name is Jayburd, was it ment to be Jaybird but you missed the I and hit the U next to it.
Sorry to the other forum member but I would like to know.

Here Bird Boy is a job description on the IRRI research station - they scare the munias and sparrows off the research plots.

There's a similar job on the prawn farms up this way, except it involves, shags, a motorbike & a shotgun

I think they are all classified as waxbills now so Jaybird will be happy

Unfortunately it is the Eurasian tree sparrow which the Spanish introduced here to make them feel at home.
