Today I saw Black ones , dancing ones , one laying on its back obviously had enough of the noise ( no wasnt dead ) little tiny ones that I fell in love with , black headed ones ,scaly ones , so many and so gawjus and I so am gonna have those tiny little ones one day ...now I just have to recall what they were :roll:


Oh Oh and Linoleated Parrakeets , yes I know not Lorries but bloody nice too.

So much colour and personality.I love Black lories too.The little ones may have been Little Lorikeets or Varieds.I would have a pet Rainbow if i didnt have a cranky Corella.Ive seen some really great pet Rainbows,

Varied Lorries ..yep and same here our Corella doesnt like birds very much :roll:

Does anyone know if the little Varies do those projectile poops like the Rainbows do ?

All three of our small lorikeets, Varied, Purple-Crowned, & Littles, when feed on dry mix as the staple, with wet mix & fruit supplements have a more solid poo than the big ones. And all three leave the big ones for dead.

I couldnt believe the size of them ....are they a bird that needs a license to own them ?
