Talk about a Catch 22...!
We have compiled a Legal requirements and Legislation section, maybe there could be something in there relevant to this.

In all honesty I dont think they would notice whatever you put as" bought from".
I put a name and phone number for the " bought from " and they never said boo HOWEVER be late with your $$$$ and threats of suspension.
Yep the birds were Double Bars and yep a license is needed in NSW .

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Speaking from experience
If you are found out taking birds into your state that require a license and not under a permit YOU Will be prosecuted.
Be very careful receiving birds from WA, they can get an export permit reasonably easy but it only lasts 24hrs from memory and they must get it to put the birds on a plane.
I forgot, they checked the WA paper work nothing from my end into court.
While I am not saying break the law no paper work from either end at least makes it harder for them
Sadly I have no time for the NSW group as I have not come across one officer that is interested in the welfare or realistic control of wildlife
They take their pay and thats it.
