Howdy. How's this for rotten luck? Been trying to track down some unrelated Button quail to mine for months and months. Saw some on a for sale list in another club's newsletter. Took the bloke's number but didn't get to ring him til the other night. Sure, he had bred 20, BUT had just sold them '5 minutes' ago. Had the same thing happen 3 weeks ago with normal Turquoisine parrots, just sold them. I had been thinking about ringing about them for weeks before, but sat on the idea . If you see something and want it, Just get it I say. Anyway,.. When and what did you just miss out on?

yeah I want buttons too. Got a contact for a pair in Sydney from Clawd but no luck getting a hold of him so far
same with the 5-26 issues of Just finches in the RFS magazine for me lucky sod who got them

a month or so ago a breeder had a hen of a species of parrot I keep which I was going to pair up with my spare male. Emailed him mid week and was going to drive down to inspect/take home on the weekend, but he sold it before I could get there. Now I have to pay double if i'm desperate.
