Hello again......As a new owner of finches I must say I am delighted with the new additions to my family.......but.....up until yesterday I thought my finches were beautiful until a "friend" pointed out to me that my finches were mutants. Mutants????? My finches are white chest, yellow bodies with green wings and the males have a red face. Lovely little creatures. The females are the same except with brown faces. No one told me I was buying "mutants" I must say I have had a bit of a chuckle because once you get to know me.....you will see that these little fellows fit just nicely in to my family. I am also pleased to tell you that I am the proud parent of 6 new babies as of this morning......phew am I exhausted. Cheers for now....Deb

As soon as I can work out exactly how to use photos here I will post some photos of my "mutants"...........mmmmmmmmm Xmen??????? not sure what catagory I would fall in
was there a birdman of any sort?????
Just watching now that my babies aren't tossed out the nest Lost 3 recently.......but here's hoping all will be fine.........

Mutation is probably a better word and there is nothing wrong with them, hybrids or cross breeds on the other hand are not so good. Would like to see some pics too
