I've been keeping B/Hearts for about 10 years now and they can be as prolific as homing pigeons.
They can be maintained on any sort of seed mix as long as there is a variety of seed in it (Finch mix, small parrot, even chook mix or a mixture of all of them. They also love soaked dog food (Lucky dog Minis) any livefood (mealies, moths, etc) any softfood or egg mixtures, and frozen peas and corn (Thawed) The foods above, as well as the seed, are very important to to get big healthy young ones.

Thats reasonable. So i'll only have to breed around 20- odd birds, sell them and then i may have enough money for some Nicobars (although i'll end up just buying twinspots!).

Well I got offered a pair today but I didn't ask the price. They normally go for P1200/Pair (~$33) but they won't be DNA sexed and they would probably be wild caught  . See I'm finally discovering good things about the Philippines
