G'day, my Gouldian finch didn't make it. Itreated it with Moxidectin Plus and put in the heat lamp but still it died.Poor little bird.I've been reading all your posts on Air sac mites,so i guess that there is no prevention?

Sorry to hear that, don't let it get you down. You're going to lose birds and gouldians are a funny lot.

Shame you lost it. Moxidectin is a great product, but if the load of air sac mites is very heavy the bird will struggle to overcome the mites after the moxi has dealt with them.

I would treat the remaing gouldians, airsac mites very contagious .
