Javan Munia

Hi does any one keep or know of Javan Munias.I have 4 pair with very dark breasts with white bellies.

there are some around... I saw some in Brisbane, I THINK they could just be odd looking begos.

Unfortunately not many pure normals around thanks to some genius deliberately crossing with bengalese. Popping out with pied, cinnamon, crested, etc & with bengo habits, crowing, etc. Totally stuffed another scarce & unique species.

Hi Jay, they would have been Chris Leeper's I dare say, and I can confirm they are the real thing!

edit: never mind, I heard who you visited and yes they are most likely duds

I have good numbers - bred 21 from 9 original birds this season.

I notice there was some for sale at Hamilton Bird sale $80 a pair
