I have a nest :D :D :D :D :D
this will be my first eggs since August last year.
The red (or maybe fawn, it's hard to tell they are similar since the red hasn't coloured yet) and the white hen have gone down and are sittin on I think eggs!!!
so excited - I don't care that they're zebs!!

Believe me I get just as big a buzz seeing a clutch of young Zebras on the perch as I do with Parrot Finches etc.
Just enjoy the experience.

I don't care that they're zebs!! says Jay ...

When they do become "only Zebs " that's the time to get down from that high horse .

Why should a Zeb be any less worthwhile than any other finch ? Nothing could be more beautiful than a normal Zebra Finch.

Enjoy them Jay and good luck with them .

  well said Deb!
I hate it when I see big breeder's birdrooms and the bottom, darkest, most forgotten cages are devoted to bengos or zebs... I ask: why are they down there?? they answer: they're only zebs/bengos! what'd you expect? I expect sunlight and everything the violet ears are getting!!!
